Dueling Grounds is a free Roblox weapon duel. Servers hold 14 players. You stay in a safe area until you cross the boundary, and then other players can hit you.

Open a queue

The lobby bottom row shows PLAY, Weapons, Store, Rewards, and Settings. PLAY opens a panel titled Play a Duel with Casual, Ranked, and Custom.

Casual lists 1v1 Duel and 2v2 Clash. A September 10, 2026 first-duel guide says Ranked 1v1 and 2v2 Clash stay locked until you finish a set number of duels. That number is not printed. An early November 1, 2025 report said five wins opened Ranked. Treat the five-win line as an early report and read the PLAY menu on your account. One September 2026 guide also mentions a tutorial of about three minutes before free duels. That length comes from a single report.

Custom rules were not published.

Fight the rounds

The match intro shows both players, their usernames, and their win counts. On the Select Map and Weapon screen you can pick a named arena or Random. The Katana is free and is the usual first weapon.

Casual 1v1 plays two rounds. If the score is tied 1-1, play continues until someone pulls ahead. Ranked plays three rounds, first to two. The loser of a round sees DEATH, and the next round starts from a fresh reset. The match ends when a VICTORY banner replaces the round counter.

After the match the board lists Posture Breaks, Perfect Parries, and Counter Attacks, then XP, Gems, and Gold. One write-up says this feeds a track called the Oathbreaker Pass. Its levels were not published. The name is separate from the Oathbreaker code. Return sends you back to the lobby.

A September 2026 report puts a win near 300 to 400 Coins and a loss near 100 to 150, with Ranked paying more than a spar. Those figures are approximate, and guides use Coins and gold for the same currency.

What to practice first

Tap F on the windup, before the hit, if you want a parry. Hold F to block. Q or Shift dodges on the default PC layout. Light attacks start pressure. A heavy is slower and is easier to parry if you repeat it. The ultimate is R. A September 10, 2026 guide says an ultimate can remove up to 80 percent of a health bar and is still easy to block or dodge. That percentage is that guide's figure. A short creator video called the ultimate a one-hit kill. That claim is not used here.

Read parry, block, and dodge before you spend Coins, then compare prices in weapon prices.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Dueling Grounds free to play?

Yes. The Roblox experience record shows no price. You still spend Coins, Gems, or Robux inside the game for weapons, cosmetics, and the Weapons Early Access pass.

What are the official PC controls?

The experience description lists M1 light, M2 heavy, F to parry or hold to block, Q or Shift to dodge, M3 or T to lock on, Ctrl to toggle mouse lock, Space to jump, and R for the ultimate. Those PC keys can be changed in Settings. The same description says the game supports PC, mobile, and console, and it does not print a controller chart.

What is the difference between Coins and Gems?

Coins, sometimes called gold in player guides, pay for weapons and some skins. Gems pay for many store cosmetics. Like, Favorite, codes, and match rewards can grant both. Gem pack sizes of 150, 400, 825, 1,725, and 2,700 were published without Robux prices.

When did Season One open?

The official channel posted a 33-second Season 1 trailer on March 20, 2026, and the description says Season 1 is open. Battle-pass tiers, ranked reward steps, and the seasonal cosmetic list were not in that description.

Is there an official Trello?

A July 3, 2026 code page says there is no official Trello. This guide does not link one.

Why is there no S-to-D weapon tier list?

Published letter ranks disagree with each other, and this site has not retested them. Use the weapon pages for prices and roles, then read the live Weapons menu.
